What
do the stars mean?

SCORECARD
LEGEND
In
our directory, you will notice that there are different colored
stars next to most Realtors' names. The stars are
important for several reasons. First, they make you stand
out from the others. Second, they are the key to bumping
your way into an already occupied community. Third, the
more stars you earn, the harder it is for someone to bump you
and take your community link from you.
- this is a web
site with its own unique domain name in the format of www.uniquedomain.com
-- not just a web page or pages
within a larger domain. We do not award the black star
if your unique domain site is just a page or two or forwards to
an alias domain or a sublevel of a larger site.
- this
is a web site that has contributed written material to one of
our libraries (if we publish it). We no longer accept
article contributions, as most were only sending in press
releases or "puff." Our site is about
"real" information only.
- the
web site has a clearly labeled "Links" page in its
navigation that points to additional sources of real estate
information useful to real estate consumers. We display
the red star when that links page also points to www.realestateabc.com,
and identifies our site as either "The ABC's of Real
Estate" or RealEstate ABC.
- the web site is an
"Award Winner," "LinkPartner" or
participates in the Top 100. We
display the blue star when the web site displays the Award
Winner, Top 100 or LinkPartner graphic on their main or home page.
Some sites display multiple graphics to award multiple blue
stars. This was not our original intent, but is
acceptable.
- the
web site is a "Gold Award" winner. We display
the gold star when the site displays the "Gold Award"
on their home or main page. Unlike other sites, we rarely give
out our Gold Award.
-
A "Private
Reserve" link, which is locked and reserved for that
specific Realtor for a period of one year. Holding
the cursor over the graphic should give you the expiration
date. Private Reserve links are paid links.
